Orphan Care

Our aim is to begin by supporting orphans directly: food, clothing, schooling and care. Caring for children in a home of our own is a long-term goal; in Illinois it requires a separate, state-licensed home, and we will plan it carefully.

Zakat and sadaqah: Zakat given here is spent only on the direct needs of orphans who are eligible to receive zakat. Any future building or home is paid for from sadaqah.
